What's included
- Leaves and fallen debris cleared from lawn, beds, walks and patio
- Perennials and ornamental grasses cut back where they should be
- Garden bed edges tidied and beds put to bed for winter
- Sticks and small branches gathered for brush pickup
- Leaves raked to your terrace, loose or in paper bags, timed to your city set-out date
Add-ons
- Haul-away instead of city pickup (leaves feed my compost)
- Final mow at winter height
- A layer of mulch or compost on beds before the freeze
Pricing
Most yards: $200–350. Fixed price confirmed after a quick look or a photo, before any work starts.
- $200 minimum per visit
- Based on $60/hr for standard work, $70/hr for heavy, wet, or haul-away jobs, with all labor time included
- Prices include Wisconsin sales tax
- Pay by bank transfer, Venmo, or card

What I don't take on
- Gutters or anything on a ladder
- Tree work over about 5 inches across
- Multi-day, sod, or hardscape projects
Timed to the city's leaf pickup
Madison collects leaves and yard waste from the terrace starting the week of October 5, and every address gets three set-out dates. I schedule your cleanup for the days before your date, so the pile is gone within the week instead of sitting on the curb. Most yards take one morning. You'll get a text when I'm done, with a couple of photos.
Weekends fill up once the leaves drop.
